Hotel Frihavnen is a boutique hotel located in Nordhavn, Copenhagen, a neighbourhood built on the site of the old free port, known in Danish as "Frihavnen." The hotel's identity is deeply rooted in this history. I was commissioned to develop the full visual identity and website independently, working directly with the hotel team throughout the process. The logo is redrawn from an old "Frihavnen" harbour sign, a nod to the area's industrial past. The colour palette is drawn directly from the hotel's interior: deep navy, warm terracotta and sand tones that reflect the physical space. The website was built in WordPress and is currently live. It includes bilingual support in Danish and English, and a booking flow for guests. This was a solo commercial project, from concept and visual identity through to final development and delivery.
