Description
A trained AI image model and coded magazine website - reimagining Hello Kitty as a high-fashion icon through a fictional editorial universe.

This school project explored the intersection of AI image generation, editorial design and web development, built around one unexpected subject: Hello Kitty. I trained a custom LoRA model on Hello Kitty's visual identity, generating a series of analogue-feeling, fashion-forward images placing her in cinematic and editorial contexts, from Vogue covers to chaotic tea parties. The goal was to push the mascot into unexpected, high-fashion territory while keeping her instantly recognisable. The images were used to populate a fully coded fictional magazine, Hello Kitty Magazine, complete with articles, fashion editorials, a horoscope section and a "Most Read" feed. The website was built in HTML, CSS and JavaScript and designed to feel like a real editorial publication. The project is a study in creative world-building: using AI as a design tool and code as a medium for storytelling.
